We were thrilled to present on the East Riding Blockdown at The Audience Agency’s ‘Digitally Democratising Archives’ project dissemination event on Monday 30th May (held via Zoom). This was an opportunity for us to highlight the inspiring contributions from our history-making participants (thank you all for your creations!) and what the Archiverse, our growing Minecraft world, means to us as an archive service.
The Audience Agency are our project funders and we are grateful for all their support and expertise with helping us bring together young people and archives using technology. As part of their Digitally Democratising Archives initiative, The Audience Agency also funded nine other action-research projects which you can find our more about in the video below. It was fantastic to hear that everyone’s projects made such a positive impact on communities, and helped to explore how we can make archives more accessible to all.
The East Riding Blockdown project features from 27:00-35:00.
