On the 22nd March 2022 we were honoured to bring the East Riding Blockdown to Springhead Primary School in Anlaby.
This delightful group of pupils enthusiastically explored the virtual Treasure House together in multiplayer, and worked on their written and built creations based on their experiences of lockdown.
Whilst learning about the East Riding Archives, the group detailed their lockdown activities in a ‘book and quill’ item in the virtual Research Room, and then ventured to the Build Zone to work on their built creations and see what other children had produced for the project.
Huge thanks go to Springhead’s Head Teacher Mrs Prutton for inviting us, and to this wonderful group for taking part! These creations will be preserved as digital objects in the collection ERBP for researchers in the future to use as historical records about the Covid-19 pandemic.
