What a fun half term week we had, and we hope you enjoyed it too!
The East Riding Archives and Bridlington Central Library were our history-making venues for our fully-booked (wow!) Archiverse Minecraft events across February half term, and we are delighted to present to you our videos and photographs showing off your magnificent Minecraft creations!
It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm for documenting history shine through, and for us, lovely to tell everyone about the amazing work the Archives do for the East Riding community. Thank you to everyone who attended, we loved the Minecraft-themed outfits!
Across half term, over 30 lockdown memories were recorded in the Archiverse’s build zone, and because of this we turned our video into three parts. Make sure you check out all three!
Eight inspiring written experiences, documented using the ‘book and quill’ item, also now adorn the Archiverse’s research room for future history builders to see. You can have a closer look at these written pieces, and many other creations and event photographs in our gallery.
If you’ve been inspired by these creations and would like to contribute to the project, take a look at the many ways you can be involved!
